A list of links directing you to grant information, financial aid assistance and much more. Be prepared to spend several hours checking the many possibilities for funding sources.

Umeå University's Chemistry Resources for Educators.
Many different tools and resources can be found here. Most interesting is a large hypertext library containing information about various chemistry related subjects that viewed and read online as "computerized textbooks" (Provided by a link to the Univ. of Virginia.) Many of these contain text, pictures and some with Quicktime movies of molecules and chemical processes. Well worth checking out for those who are interested in Chemistry, P-Chem, Biochem, and Organic chem as well as some other esoteric stuff such as Quantum Chemistry! Worth checking out for those interested in this cool science!

Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators
A really great subject oriented guide to resources for educators. Many different subject headings yield resources across the internet that will be helpful and interesting to educators and their students. (Check the science/technology section out and look for "Bill Nye the Science Guy['s]" site!)

History/Social Studies Web Site for K-12 Teachers.
This site has many links to related information and sites as well as links for general K-12 topics. Very comprehensive.

IDEAnet
This is a link to the IDEAnet you all know in Indiana. Part of the state department of education, this is the clearing house for educational information and correspondence in our state (IN)!

U.S. Department of Education (ED)
Pretty much just what it says. Get an inside track to what the government is doing to help you.

Library of Congress
An excellent resource. Information about the House of Representatives, the Senate, bills under consideration, national exhibits, teaching materials, book collections and much more...

Education Central
A large clearing house of sites and subject specific information. Provides additional links to government and collegiate resources. (Some Michigan specific info is also provided)

Web66: A K-12 World Wide Web Project
This site provides help and information on the Internet and the WWW. The information is both technical and for the new user. Choose carefully.

University of Michigan: The Weather Underground
Allows you to connect to UMich's weather machine and find out the weather almost anywhere (especially here in South Bend (SBN)). Also, you can download UMich's "Blue Skies" software for even more direct access to their weather machine (and others!).

NetSchool
Internet Educational resources compiled by room number as if in an actual school! Provides resources for teachers as well as some areas for professional interaction.

KidsCom
Here kids can communicate with each other and find key pals who have similar interests.

A Tour of the Planets
This page will provide information about the various planets as well as pictures and some tutorial information as well. Seems to be aimed at 5th grade and up.

BOOKS
This is a Gopher resource for several Electronic Text (E-Text) versions of timeless classics by the masters. Some other recent texts are also available here. The full text of the stories is maintained, no cutting here.
